The first Guimbal G2 Cabri helicopter for a customer in Brazil is currently being shipped to the South American country. The helicopter was recently handed over by Guimbal in a ceremony at the factory in Aix in southern France – see photo below.  Serial 1120 is expected in Brazil by the end of the year, and will fly in Brazil carrying local registration PR-EFC.  A second example will follow in 2016.  This order was placed by Efai at Heli-Expo 2014 in Anaheim.

Operator Efai Escola De Pilotagem is a dedicated helicopter flying school, and their current fleet includes four Schweizer 300CB, one Robinson R44 and an AS350 built locally by Helibras.  These are rounded off by a Fly-IT AATD (Advanced Aviation Training Device) – with cabin dimensions similar to a Bell 206, it can be set up to simulate MD500, Bell 206, Bell 407, Schweizer 300, Enstrom 280FX. Robinson R22, R44, R66, and AS350 B2.  Additionally, Efai works with ADAC HEMS Academy in Germany, and has access there to a pair of EC135/EC145 full-flight simulators.
