A tender has been issued for a three-year contract for an EMS helicopter, including aeronautical and medical crew, for 50Hertz Transmission GmbH and three offshore wind developers in the Baltic Sea. This helicopter will be used for emergency rescues of employees on the wind turbines and offshore platforms at Iberdrola’s Wikinger, E.ON’s Arkona and EnBW’s Baltic 1 and Baltic 2. The contract will start on 1 October 2017 and has an option for an extension of one year, reports Offshore Wind.
