The Indonesian Navy will be removing their BO-105 utility helicopters from the Middle East after various sources within the UN have voiced their concern over the helicopters’ capabilities. Concerns include its inability to produce a Recognised Maritime Picture that works with other United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) patrols, its load parameters as well as endurance issues, reports Janes IHS.
