The impressive space is located in Aurora, OR, where Columbia Helicopters operates the ELITE Advanced Aviation Training Device (AATD) in order to keep their pilots current and proficient. Accomplishing training using the AATD is much more cost effective and beneficial than doing so in the real helicopters.
