The Indian Navy is currently looking to procure 110 light utility helicopters (LUH). They have already rejected the Russian Kamov Ka-226T helicopter because the blades cannot fold and will not be able to fit inside a ship’s hangar. The agreement contract will take another two months as they still need formal registration between Russia and India.
