Russia’s Defence Ministry recently accepted a delivery of Mi-8MTV-5-1 military helicopters from Russian Helicopters. The helicopters went through strict testing before they were accepted. Russian Helicopters has recently signed a contract for 27 new helicopters from GTLK State Transport Leasing Company. The contract includes 10 Mi-8MTV-1 variants, 13 Mi-8AMTs and 4 Ansats. The Mi-8/17 helicopters have proven to be the best selling, being able to fly in temperatures from -50C to +50C, reports Russian Aviation Insider.
